Utility line clearance to begin soon in Lebanon

The City of Lebanon has contracted with two companies to provide utility line clearance, brush cutting, and tree removal. Electric Department Supervisor Travis Long says hiring these two companies is a proactive measure to prevent power outages in the city.

Long said the crews from Burk & Katska, and Tom’s Tree Service LLC will be working in the city right of way…

The tree trimming efforts will begin as early as September 27th. The total amount between the two contracts came in under the $210-thousand-dollar budget, with a total cost of $163-thousand-700-dollars.
