Use tax and bond issue in Lake Ozark

Residents of Lake Ozark will have 2 issues on the ballot on June 2nd. The first issue on the ballot is a question to allow the city to issue revenue bonds up to $6-million-dollars. Lake Ozark City Administrator Dave Van Dee says the bonds are for improving transportation infrastructure..

The Use Tax is charged on internet sales….

The Lake Ozark Use Tax will be used to help offset the cost of transportation improvements. The Use Tax will not be more than the current local sales tax, and if the local sales tax is raised or reduced by voters, that is what the Use Tax will be.
