USDA’s National Ag Statistics Service has sent out the latest survey to Missouri farmers

34-hundred farmers in Missouri will have some paperwork to take care of in the next two weeks. They’re being asked by USDA’s National Ag Statistics Service what they plan to plant in the coming season. State Statistician Bob Garino

Garino says surveys can also be completed online. He says that it’s important for farmers that receive a survey to complete it, as it will improve the accuracy of their projections.

NASS Missouri State Statistician Bob Garino adds that farmers who receive a survey but don’t respond may receive follow-up calls or a possibly a visit from a USDA enumerator.
