Updates on New 911 Emergency Call Center

The new 911 Emergency Call Center for the Laclede County Sheriff’s Department is moving right along. The emergency center doubles as a tornado shelter and is a safe place for staff to work when there is other severe weather in the area. Gene Hoke is the Laclede County Maintenance Supervisor and gives us a general progress report on how the project is coming along thus far.

As for a finished date, Hoke says it should be done in the Summertime.

Hoke is excited about the new center.

The Laclede County commissioners will be discussing with the building contractors on that project at a there meeting next Thursday, April 4.
