University Helps Marijuana Industry

Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville has launched a new program to complement the state’s growing medical marijuana industry. The school launched the online cannabis program one year ago. Dr. Jay Johnson, with the university, says the program is for anyone – not just students enrolled at the school.

The university is teaming up with Green Flower, a cannabis education platform, to offer non-credit certifications.
