United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration in Rolla

The Fort Leonard Wood Mid-Missouri Chapter of the Association of United States Army and Phelps for the Fort are teaming up to host an event to honor the veterans of the Vietnam War Era as part of the congressionally-authorized United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration. At the event, scheduled for 9 a.m. June 27th, at Columbia College in Rolla, official Vietnam War 50th Commemoration pins and certificates will be distributed to local veterans. The commemoration items may also be presented to veterans posthumously to families on their loved one’s behalf. Those Vietnam-Era Veterans who served from Nov. 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, regardless of service location, are invited to take part in the ceremony. Following the formal ceremony, refreshments will be provided by United Veterans Benefits Agency. This event is open to the public for attendance.
