Unidentified vehicle causes wreck on Highway 5

An early morning wreck in Laclede County sent two people to the hospital. According to the Highway Patrol, a truck driven by 32 year old Sean Mace of Lebanon was traveling on Highway 5 north of Knoll Road when an unidentified vehicle ran into the back of his vehicle, and then drove away. Two passengers in Mace’s vehicle, 29 year old Kayla Daby and 35 year old Melissa Villarreal were injured in the crash and were taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. According to the report, Mace sought his own treatment after the 4:18am crash. The other vehicle was not identified in the report.
