U-S House is expected to vote Monday on a veto override attempt on the defense authorization bill
(Washington, D. C.)–The U-S House is expected to vote Monday on a veto override attempt on the defense authorization bill. Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler was hoping that President Trump would sign the bill, saying it contains another 40-million dollars for the hospital replacement project at Fort Leonard Wood, in her district:
The bill also contains funding for the U-S Army’s Lake City ammunition plant in western Missouri, the Army’s only small-caliber ammunition plant. President Trump says the large bill shields internet companies from liability for what’s posted on their websites.
