The Missouri Highway Patrol has released the results of its annual school bus inspection campaign. Of the nearly 12-thousand buses inspected statewide, 10,807 of them passed inspection.
Two school districts in Pulaski County received 100 percent of their buses approved. Both Waynesville and Swedeborg received the perfect rating. 90% of Crocker’s buses were approved, 95% of Dixon’s buses were approved, 81.8% of Laquey’s, 90.9% of Richland’s were approved, 93.3% of Iberia’s were approved, and 66.7% of Newburg’s buses were approved by the patrol.
According to the patrol, a total of 277 Missouri school districts earned the Patrol’s Total Fleet Excellence award with 5,738 buses eligible to display the Patrol’s Total Fleet Excellence sticker in the lower corner of the first window on the passenger entry side of the bus.
