Two Iberia residents suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 2:30 Thursday afternoon

Two Iberia residents suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 2:30 Thursday afternoon on Horseshoe Bend Parkway, east of Emerald Bay Drive in Camden County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by 81-year old Kenneth D. Irwin ran off the right edge of the roadway, the driver overcorrected, the vehicle returned to the roadway and ran off the left side of the road. Kenneth Irwin suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Health Center. A passenger in his vehicle, 59-year old Daisy Irwin suffered minor injuries and was also taken to Lake Regional.
