Two St Louis men were arrested in Camden County for delivering drugs to the area. According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies in the area of Horseshoe Bend Parkway pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop, the driver gave the officer false information about his identity. It was later learned that the driver, 24-year-old Verndemico Polk had two warrants from Pulaski County, for traffic offenses. When the officer searched the vehicle they located suspected Ecstasy pills, digital scales, cash, marijuana, and two handguns. Polk and his passenger, 25-year-old Mario McFadden also of St Louis were both arrested. Polk was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and McFadden was charged with one count of delivery of a controlled substance. Both were jailed with a bond of $75-thousand-dollars.
