Two Drownings in Benton County

The Missouri Highway Patrol Water Division is reporting two drownings in Benton County. 58-year old Edward Larison of Warsaw was found floating in Town Branch Creek and pronounced deceased by Benton County Medical Examiner Weston Miller at 3:45 Monday. The second drowning occurred at 3:55 Monday afternoon when 50-year old Arthur Hey of Fenton stood up in his boat and fell overboard into Truman Lake at the G3 Mile Marker; efforts to rescue Hey were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced at 4:54 Monday afternoon. Investigations into the two incidents are continuing.
