Two Dead Following Texas County Accident

Two people were killed Friday afternoon following a two-vehicle accident on Highway V.V. 4 miles south of Licking in Texas County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a pickup driven by 30-year-old Hayden J. Mercer of Searcy, Arkansas changed lanes to pass another vehicle and struck a car driven by 55-year-old Richard E. Strom of Licking. Both drivers were killed in the accident.
