Two Children Dead In Pulaski County Fire

Authorities in Pulaski County and The State Fire Marshal are investigating a fire that took the life of two children and sent a third child and a man to the hospital. The blaze was reported just after 6:00 last night in a mobile home on Host Drive, just northeast of Saint Robert in Pulaski County. Two of the children were trapped in the home when firefighters from the Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District arrived at the scene. Along with Waynesville Rural Fire Protection Districting firefighters, members of the Saint Robert, Fort Leonard Wood, and Dixon Rural Firefighters responded to the blaze which was brought under control around 7:00 p.m.  Officials have not released the names of the victims and no cause of the blaze has been released, The Pulaski County Coroners Office is aiding in the investigation.
