Two case before Judge Colin Long allegedly involving weapons

Chaunecia Berry of St. Robert has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court on charges of domestic assault in the first degree, unlawful use of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child. Court documents allege that on April 2, Berry put a SCCY 9mm handgun up to the temple of another, in this case, a victim who resided together with Berry. Court documents further allege that Berry also acted with criminal negligence in leaving a victim, a child under the age of 17 years old, in an unlocked car with a soiled diaper and clothes. Berry has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Judge Colin Long has set a preliminary hearing for today, April 8, as well as a counsel status hearing for April 22.
