Two appear before Judge Colin Long in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court

50-year-old Jo Yvette Griffin of Dixon has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Count on a charge of burglary in the first degree. Court documents allege that on February 21st, Griffin knowingly entered unlawfully a building located at 20492 Highway 28 for the purpose of committing domestic assault. Another was present in the building, that person was not a participant in the crime. Griffin entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. Judge Colin Long has ordered Griffin to personally appear at a counsel status hearing on April 3rd. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 24th.

 

36-year-old Candace Darby of St. Robert has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court in Waynesville on a charge of stealing leased or rented personal property. Court documents allege that on March 15, Darby purposely failed to return the property rented from Aaron’s Rental within 10 days of the receipt of a certified letter sent to her last known address. The property had a value of at least $750. Court documents further allege that Darby failed to return the property for the purpose of depriving Aaron’s Rental of the property. Darby entered a plea of not guilty to the charges. Judge Colin Long has scheduled a counsel status hearing for April 11th, and a preliminary hearing for April 24th.
