Two Airlifted Following Laclede County Accident

An accident at 7:35 last night (Saturday) on Highway NN in Laclede County, 11 miles north of Lebanon, has resulted in serious injuries. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by 44-year old, Robert D. Karther of Kansas City, failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the right side of the road, went airborne, and struck a ditch. 18-year old Alexis N. Karther of Laurie suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. A 14-year old juvenile from Camdenton also suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Lake Regional in Osage Beach. No one in the vehicle was wearing a safety device.
