Trick-or-Treat Safety Tips

The Camdenton Police Department has released some Halloween Safety Tips for trick-or-treaters! Never trick or treating alone. Always go with a parent or adult friend. Go to homes you know and trust. Wear a safe costume, use reflective strips for visibility when it gets dark, wear something warm if it gets cold, wear hoods and masks that don’t obstruct your vision, and watch out for loose outfits that can cause you to trip and fall. Some more tips: Look both ways before crossing the street. Take a flashlight or a glowstick, and if you need a glowstick stop by the Camdenton Police Department and one will be provided to you. Lastly, do not talk to strangers!
