Trial date set for accused killer Jordan Jones

A jury trial date has been set for a former Camdenton resident who is accused of Murder. 33 year old Jordan Fitzgerald Jones is accused of intentionally striking and killing 43 year old Michael Varney by driving into him on the front porch of their residence on Georgene Road, North of Camdenton. It was reported on that on August 30th 2022 the two men got into an argument and later that evening Varney was hit and killed. Jones was charged with second degree murder and armed criminal action. He is currently in custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections. His trial is set to begin on February 26th 2024.
