Travel across Bagnell Dam is open

Much of the work by MODOT contractors is complete over Bagnell Dam, and the road is open for the time being. Area Engineer Bob Lynch said the road is open but there is still some work to do….

According to Lynch, the epoxy seal part of the project will help protect the surface but also will protect the integrity of the dam underneath. When dates are set for that part of the project, we’ll announce it on KJEL and MODOT will also have additional information on their website.
