Train Hits Truck Injures Niangua Woman

A 45-year old Niangua woman suffered serious injuries after the grain truck she was driving was struck by a train in Webster County, on Box School Loop, 2 miles west of Seymour. Amy M. Poisson was taken to Cox Hospital after failing to yield to the train and ended up on the tracks. Poisson was ejected from her truck which was drug several hundred feet from the collision site. The accident occurred at 12:08 Thursday afternoon; no other injuries were reported.
