A Stoutland woman is facing charges after allegedly being in possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop, on April 9th. A Camden County Deputy pulled over a vehicle that was being driven by 43-year-old Chrissy Annette Bethel, for speeding and lane violations. The deputy was given consent to search the vehicle and seized a marijuana pipe from the glove box and a metal tube with a substance that tested positive as methamphetamine. Prior to being taken inside for processing at the Camden County Jail, Bethel turned over a hidden pipe which tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine. Bethel is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked, and speeding with a bond of $25-thousand-dollars.
