There were no major issues during the first few days of classes in the Lebanon R-3 School District. R-3 Communications Director, Jacy Overstreet, says the main issue seemed to be traffic flow at district facilities. The district is asking parents to pick up and drop off students as much as they can this year to alleviate crowded bus routes. The district is currently taking steps to improve traffic flow at district buildings, and Overstreet reminds parents to be patient. Overstreet adds that students at Maplecrest Elementary were treated to a brand new cafeteria for the 2020-2021 school year…………

Overstreet says traffic flow should improve over the next few days………….

Overstreet says the district didn’t have any issues with students not wanting to wear a mask. Students who arrive at school without a mask will be provided with one by the district. All students in all grades are required to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
