Tractor Trailer driver charged with DWI after crash on I-44

A 42-year-old California man suffered minor injuries in a tractor-trailer crash at 8:40 Tuesday evening on I-44, 5 miles east of Lebanon. Romel S. Yako ran his rig off the right side of the road, up an embankment and then overturned. Yako was later charged with DWI, possession of alcohol while operating a commercial motor vehicle, and C and I driving, resulting in a crash. He was released for medical treatment at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.
