Today is the last day to RSVP to attend the Sustainable Ozarks Partnership annual meeting scheduled to be held next Wednesday at the Ark Community and Sports Center in West Waynesville. This meeting is the SOP’s annual planning session where this four-county regional defense community support organization will provide a report on accomplishments, consider the organization’s performance over the past year, and set objectives for the coming year. Organizers expect remarks from Missouri Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe, U. S. Senator Eric Schmitt, Congressman Mark Alford, Brigadier General Joe Ricciardi, Deputy Commanding General of the U. S. Army Installation Management Command; Brigadier General Sarah Albrycht, Commandant of the U. S. Army Military Police School; Lieutenant Colonel Crystal Jones, Commander of the U. S. Army Kansas City Recruiting Battalion; Missouri Military Advocate Harry Roberts, Mike Dubois of Kit Bond Strategies; Keith Pritchard, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for the Western District of Missouri; Joe Driskill, Chairman of the Major General Leonard Wood Foundation; Tommy Turner of J. E. Dunn Construction; and Travis Lynch with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. Meeting hours next Wednesday will be from 9 a-m and 1 p-m
