Tiny Homes considered as a partial remedy for affordable housing shortage

As the region continues to contend with a shortage of affordable housing, one community is taking steps address the issue, by considering Tiny House developments. During a recont meeting the Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen considered a city code laying out the definition of tiny homes. Mayor Gerry Murawski tells us there would be benefits for this type of housing development….

Mayor Murawski said what they are considering is requiring at least 4 and up to 16 tiny homes in a development. There will be a public hearing for residents in the area currently being considered for rezoning, for a Tiny Home development, on October 7th.
