Time Running Out to Purchase Lebanon Schools Sesquicentennial Brick

The Lebanon School system celebrates its Sesquicentennial this year, and the Lebanon High School Alumni Association has organized a project to construct an Alumni Plaza on the original site of Lebanon High School. The project includes a display of bricks that will have student and teacher names from over the years. According to Alumni Association member, Lester Capps, the best way to purchase the bricks is online, but time is running out to place your order.

The bricks cost 50 dollars each, and Capps describes what can be inscribed on your purchase:

Capps says the plaza will be a tribute to the district’s past.

The dedication of the Alumni Plaza will take place in September, and Capps says the whole community is welcome to participate:

You can purchase a brick or make a tax-deductible donation to help construct the Alumni Plaza and celebrate 150 years of the district through the Lebanon Area Foundation, located in the Lebanon Chamber office at Second and Adams. The deadline to purchase your brick is August 1st.
