Time Capsule Marker in Place

Some of Lebanon’s history has been stored for future generations in a time capsule which is buried at Lebanon City Hall. The plaque was buried in September 2021, and this week a plaque, marking the time capsule, was presented to the City by Kenny Howe of Holman Howe Funeral Home. Mayor Jared Carr said the time capsule was put in place in conjunction with Missouri’s Bicentennial Celebration.

The capsule is scheduled to be opened on September 12th, 2121.
