Tiger Typhoon closed in Waynesville after being identified as a potential risk for Covid-19 exposure
(St. Robert)–The City of St. Robert has closed its Tiger Typhoon outdoor pool for the rest of the year. St. Robert Mayor, Dr. George Lauritson, explains.
The pool had been opened to outdoor swimming for two-and-a-half months this summer. However, the Pulaski County Health Department identified the Tiger Typhoon Aquatic Center as a public place of the potential risk of exposure from a positive Pulaski County resident on Friday, August 14th, through Monday, August 17th, in the evening hours. The County Health Center has also identified Waynesville High School as a potential risk of exposure from two students who attended the 9th grade Transition Orientation morning session last Friday.
