Ticketing for Holiday Block Leave has begun at Fort Leonard Wood

Fort Leonard Wood officials are announcing that ticketing for Holiday Block Leave has begun. Each year, Soldiers in training are given the opportunity to go home for the holidays in order to allow drill sergeants and support personnel a chance to spend the holidays with their families. These Soldiers are in the process of purchasing their travel tickets to be reunited with their families over the Christmas-New Year’s holidays. Post officials are cautioning people to keep their safety in mind and not to post the dates they will be traveling or at home on social media.
