(Waynesville)–This is the last day for the Salvation Army’s Tree of Lights bell ringing campaign for this year. The bell ringers and red kettles are out today at several locations in Pulaski County.
So far, the Tree of Lights campaign is running about 25-thousand dollars short of this year’s fundraising goal. Pulaski County Unit of the Salvation Army’s co-chairman Gary Porter says campaign workers are hoping to close the gap through donations sent by mail.

Porter says checks can be made out to the Pulaski County Salvation Army and sent to Pulaski County Salvation Army, care of Security Bank of Pulaski County, P. O. Drawer S, Waynesville, Missouri 65583. This year’s Honorary Campaign Chairperson is Jim Mitchell of Richland.
