Thursday afternoon update from the Laclede County Health Department

The Laclede County Health Department is still waiting on test results for two individuals who were tested for Coronavirus earlier this week. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says there are still no confirmed cases of the virus in Laclede County……

Baker says those tests had to be sent to a commercial lab due to the fact that they did not meet all of the criteria the state is requiring for testing…..

Baker says Region I recorded their first confirmed case of Coronavirus on Thursday, with a case in Pulaski County. She says the best way to protect yourself is to stay home……….

There have now been 26 confirmed cases, and one fatality, from Coronavirus in Missouri.
