Three more Covid-19 cases recorded Thursday in Laclede County

The Laclede County Health Department has identified 3 more positive cases of COVID-19 in the county. That brings the total number of cases to 173, with 14 of those currently being active. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, discusses the three new cases……..

Baker says while the number of cases in Laclede County has slowed over the last few weeks, that is not the case in other areas of the state……

Missouri set yet another record for the number of new cases on Thursday. It was the first day the state identified over 2-thousand cases, with a total of 2,084. It was the ninth record number of cases set in the month of July. Baker says there are currently two county residents that are hospitalized due to COVID-19……….

13 more people died on Thursday, bringing the total number of statewide deaths to 1,233. Baker says she does not know what it will take for the state to get the virus under control.
