The Crocker School District in Pulaski County has canceled the final two days of summer school after it sent students home early yesterday (Wednesday) because of a threat, according to posts on a district Facebook page.

A post on the district’s High School Page said that district buildings were locked down as of 9:15 a.m. Wednesday and that police were at the school. An hour later, the district said it would send summer school students home at 11 a.m. Police would remain at the scene “out of an abundance of caution,”.

All open gyms on campus scheduled for Wednesday night were canceled as well.

In a release, officials say the Croker police and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department continue to investigate the threat. And no information on the nature of the threat was released.
