Thousands of Fort Leonard Wood Soldiers and other military personnel will be leaving the area for their respective hometowns for the holiday.

(Fort Leonard Wood)–Time is ticking down to when thousands of Fort Leonard Wood Soldiers and other military personnel will be leaving the area for their respective hometowns for the holiday. Colonel Aaron Bohrer, Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Chief of Operations and Director of Training, tells us how much military personnel will be going on Holiday Block Leave this weekend.

ITRO partners refer to Marine, Air Force, and Navy personnel who are training at Fort Wood. Military trainees and cadre who are symptomatic will be tested before the block leave. Anywho test positive for Covid will be kept here until their quarantine period is over. Then, upon re-evaluation, they will be released to go home for the remaining days of the leave.
