Those who own a business in the city of Richland and are delinquent in paying the fee for their business license could find themselves in the dark if the Board of Alderman passes an ordinance that was discussed during their last meeting. That’s not the only group of people who could be in danger of having their power disconnected. Richland City Clerk, Susan Alexander, explains the options that the Board of Aldermen are looking at implementing…………

The Board of Aldermen wanted the advice of their attorney before implementing that policy. The Board of Aldermen also revised the sick leave policy for employees and implemented parking changes in the 100-block of McClurg street during that meeting. The Board of Aldermen also discussed the annual Spring City Cleanup dates. That date will be on April 25th for residents of Ward One. The date for Ward Two is April 26th, and Ward Three is scheduled for April 27th.
