This is the opening day of the Tri-County Fair in Shady Dell Park in Richland. Over the course of its four-day run, the fair will feature carnival rides and attractions, 4-H home economic and livestock exhibits, FFA livestock shows, a Christian live concert, food and craft vendors, and an MMTTPA Truck and Tractor Pull.
Today’s schedule of events include:

Market hog and market lamb weigh-in from 7:30 to 9 a-m, market steer weigh-in from 10 to 11 a-m, and a rabbit and poultry show at 2 p-m–all three events in the livestock barn.

4-H Project and all Home Economic exhibits check-in will be from 4 to 7 p-m in the community building.

The carnival will be open from 6 to 10 o’clock this evening on the midway. Unlimited ride bands will be available for purchase.

Fair Board Vice President Scott Hedges says The Richland Ministerial Alliance will present a gospel concert this evening in the amphitheater.

The First Christian Church Youth Group will be holding a cornhole tournament this evening as well.

General admission to the Tri-County Fair is free with free parking available.
