Think Home Safety During the New Year’s Holiday

If you’re going to be away from your home New Year’s Eve or an extended period of time this weekend, you might want to improve security at your homesite.
Pulaski County Sheriff Jimmy Bench says enlisting the help of a friend or neighbor could prove to be very beneficial.

He says don’t advertise your absence by posting about it on Facebook or other social media. And, you might want to buy some sort of security cameras to capture the image of someone trying to break into your home or outbuildings while you’re away.
