There is now a Narcan Vending Machine at the Pulaski County Health Center

There is now a Narcan Vending Machine at the Pulaski County Health Center site on Ashley May Lane in Waynesville. Central Ozarks Medical Center installed the vending machine this week. People in need of Narcan for their households may stop by and get a two-pack of Narcan free from the vending machine. There are vouchers for dispensing on the front of the machine as well as information for treatment, counseling, and peer support resources. Narcan is used by first responders to revive people who have overdosed on opioids, even fentanyl. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department was one of the first in the state to obtain and use Narcan for this purpose.
