Theft and tampering

A man from Lebanon is facing charges after stealing from a couple’s home while they were on vacation. According to a statement from the victim, they had given 23-year-old Truman Long a place to stay until he could get back on his feet. The couple left and returned from vacation to find a Play Station, 4 and Play Station 5 gaming systems, controllers, and video games all missing. The property owner also discovered damage to a vehicle and inside the garage. A receipt to a local pawn shop was also located. Long is charged with tampering with a motor vehicle and felony stealing. His arraignment is set for Friday in Laclede County Associate Circuit Court.
