The Waynesville School of Practical Nursing is now accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year

The Waynesville School of Practical Nursing is now accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year. Waynesville School of Practical Nursing program is a full-time, 11-month, adult-only program located in the Waynesville Career Center that begins in August and finishes at the end of June. Once practical nursing students have passed all courses in the program, they will be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN exam and upon passing, will be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Program Coordinator for the Practical Nursing Program Audrey Mc Daniel says, “Every year we take steps to better prepare our students for real-world nursing. During the last three years, we have had an NCLEX-PN pass rate of 100%.” There are two application deadlines this year. The early application deadline is March 11th, 2022, with an entrance exam score of 58.7% or higher on file. The final application deadline is May 20th. Prospective students are encouraged to apply early so they have plenty of time to study for the entrance exam and to secure their seats in the upcoming class.
