The Waynesville JROTC Drill Team took 2nd place overall and 3rd place overall in both the Armed and Unarmed events

The Waynesville JROTC Drill Team took 2nd place overall and 3rd place overall in both the Armed and Unarmed events at the Ozark High School JROTC Invitational Drill Meet last week. The 2nd place finish comes in a field of 17 schools. It takes into account the six Unarmed and Armed events, minus the New Cadets. Of those, Waynesville finished 1st in Armed Regulation, 2nd in Armed Color Guard, 2nd in Unarmed Dual Exhibition, and 3rd in Armed Exhibition. Waynesville JROTC will host the next competition on Jan. 21, 2023, at Waynesville High School. Waynesville’s New Cadet Platoons will compete at the home drill meet.
