(St. Robert)–The St. Robert Transfer Station takes over the residential trash pickup duties today in St. Robert and later this week in Waynesville, replacing the previous longtime contractor, Zeigenbein Sanitation. St. Robert Mayor George Lauritson explains.

The schedule has trash pick up taking place every Monday from residences west of Missouri Avenue/Y Highway and Tuesdays from households east of Missouri Avenue/Y Highway.
Every Wednesday will be the pickup date for recycled trash from residences. And, through an intergovernmental agreement with Waynesville, St. Robert sanitation trucks will pick up residential trash in Waynesville every Thursday and Friday.
