The Singing Saints will give a concert at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 981 Highway Z in Saint Robert this coming Sunday at 7.00 p.m. Admission is FREE.
The SINGING SAINTS is a 65-voice concert choir of Saint Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia under the direction of Dr. Jerrode Marsh. The 22-23 choir is comprised of students in grades 9-12, with members from 14 different countries, including Slovakia, Mexico, Poland, Italy, Ghana, Chad, Norway, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, South Korea, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and the U.S. The award-winning choir has toured annually since 1971 with over 1000 appearances in the United States, Canada, and Europe. The choir has performed in the Kauffmann Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, in Carnegie Hall, and most recently with the Sedalia Symphony Orchestra. The choir consistently receives top ratings in the state of Missouri at contests and festivals, as do many individual members who compete in vocal and instrumental solo entries.
Saint Paul Lutheran High School is a residential and a day high school and has been dedicated to education in the finest Lutheran tradition since 1883. Saint Paul is the last residential high school of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod in the United States.
