The Old Stagecoach Stop in Waynesville will reopen on Saturday as announced, but with some changes

For several weeks, the Old Stagecoach Stop Committee has announced that the Civil War structure in Downtown Waynesville would be opening this Saturday. The Old Stagecoach Stop will reopen on Saturday as announced, but with some changes. Due to the recent spike in Covid numbers, and the close quarters in the Stagecoach Stop’s small rooms, procedures are changing.
Tours will be conducted by appointment only. The tour times each Saturday will be 10:00 a-m, noon, and 2:00 p-m. Appointments can be made by calling Jeanie at 573-336-3651 or Jan at 573 528-7150. Tours groups will be limited to no more than 8 people. And, while it is hoped that all visitors are fully vaccinated, all visitors age 2 and older will be require to wear a mask.
