The old Laclede County historic jail site plans being discussed

Laclede County demolished the historic jail that stood for over 100 years just a few weeks ago, and plans are already slowly coming together to use the space to erect some type of landmark to contribute to the history of Lebanon. Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst says the goal is to use many components of the old jail in the construction

While the exact design is still coming together, Angst says the hope is that it will be something the community can “Look at, appreciate, and value”
