The number of active cases of COVID in Laclede County residents has been in a steady decline over the last few weeks. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says her department hopes that trend continues and is thankful that 2-thousand people were vaccinated in the mass vaccination clinic last week………..

Baker reminds those who were vaccinated last week to be on the lookout for follow-up information on their second dose……….

Baker reminds residents that even though the number of cases has declined significantly, now is not the time for people to let their guard down. Baker says cases could start increasing of residents do not take precautions, including those who have been vaccinated. Those who have been vaccinated are still able to transmit the virus to other individuals.
