The Missouri State Highway Patrol is offering Boating Safety Courses. The course is designed to help boaters get their certified boating safety education card, which is required for all boaters born after January 1, 1984. These approved courses meet the national boating educational standard. You only need to take one class to earn the boating safety education card, and the courses are free. However, the boater ID card costs $15, and registration is required.
