The Mid Missouri Women Veterans American Legion Post 1783 is sponsoring a women’s conference later in the month of May. On Saturday, May 20th, all women are invited to attend the conference, which is being held at the ARK Community & Sports Center in Waynesville. It starts at 9 AM and continues through 3 PM. Focus topics cast a wide net, including entrepreneurship, self-defense, finance, women’s health, and much more. Marge Scott, the representative of the post, says in addition to all that, there’s a chance to win some prizes as well.
