The latest Ozark Actors Theatre production is Sunday in the Park

The stage lights are shining brightly this summer at Ozark Actors Theatre in Rolla. Music by Stephen Sondheim is right up front in the latest Ozark Actors Theatre production of Sunday in the Park with George, a fictional retelling of a painter and his immersive existence in creating a masterpiece. Thursday night was the opening night of performances that run through July 16th. The play takes place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:30 and Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2 o’clock during this period of time.

The play is one of only eight musicals ever to have won the Pulitzer Prize for drama. It was also nominated for 10 Tony awards and has had two major Broadway revivals.
Tickets are available in the 28-to-33 dollar price range for adults, 26-to-30 dollars for military personnel and students, and 24-to-28 dollars for children under the age of 13.
The next theatre production, Baskerville A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, will be presented at Ozark Actors Theatre, starting July 27th.
